Luas is Dublin's Light Rail Transit System (tram). It carries over 90,000 passengers and operates two lines.
Construction work on the Luas line is subject to strict requirements imposed by the transport authority.
A new monitoring station was installed to deliver reliable data accurate to the millimeter. The precipitation sensor gives the necessary information whether it’s raining or snowing to avoid false alarms triggered by precipitation. It was provided by the local Lufft partner BARBER InSys.
This large project included the demolition of two vacant commercial units and the construction of premises for 247 beds. This will certainly lead to a social and economic regeneration of the area.
